Shelby Scarbrough
Shelby is a serial entrepreneur who combines her experiences with the pride and responsibility of public service to bring new perspectives to each endeavor. Her inclusive approach to leadership centers on the importance
of developing lasting, meaningful, relationships.

Shelby draws inspiration and life lessons from her unique professional experiences, as a former franchisee for Burger King, as the Global Board Chairman for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), as a protocol officer at the U.S. Department of State, a White House staff member working with  President Ronald Reagan, and consulting experience with global leaders including: His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, President Walesa of Poland, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and members of the Royal Family, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Nelson Mandela.

Civility in society is a theme woven throughout Shelby’s career. An “Ambassador of Civility,” she seeks to encourage and champion the importance of civility in our world. She addresses these topics in depth in her upcoming business book and podcast “Civility Rules!”  She serves as an advisor to numerous start-ups having co-founded nCourage Entrepreneurs, an angel investment fund focusing on early stage, women run businesses.
Recently, she was a US State Department Delegate to the 2019 Global Entrepreneurs Conference in The Hague.

Shelby graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in English and from Harvard Business School’s Owner President Managers Program.
